Is it feasible to lay and profile asphalt to reduce the upstand to flush or no more than 6mm, or does a section of the road surface course and base course either side need to be broken out and relaid?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1828166865647185633.post-53549065139757948042023-03-05T16:26:29.416+00:002023-03-05T16:26:29.416+00:00Awesome. If the tar can’t stick properly to the rounded corner then that’s only a very small problem.Nobody wants a 25 mm lip. You need to fix this design flaw or we the builders are going to fix it for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1828166865647185633.post-60479941518799931412023-02-05T10:24:20.424+00:002023-02-05T10:24:20.424+00:00Did you read the post? On the west side of the road there is quite a lip up from the tarmac. I have seen children crossing this 60 mph road get stuck trying to bump up onto the cycle path. Not good at all.
